This rare guitar has just been restored having been idle for many years. Hardware features new Grover Tuners, a new Trapeze grafted onto the original Tailpiece/Input Recess. The bridge is an after-market rosewood compensating type, and has been re-profiled to match the fingerboard and the feet matched to the body arch. The electronics are original and are in excellent condition, clear and bright.. I tracked down a pair of original bakelite knobs from eBay which made the restoration complete. I still can't believe how lucky I was doing that!!. Refretted: Quality frets, levelled, re-crowned and polished.. The headstock and wear in the rosewood fingerboard have been left original. New binding front and rear. The back was removed to allow for a proper repair to a crack in the top and the sunburst finish almost disguises the repair to the top. The refinishing was done using appropriate sealer and tints with clear nitro-cellulose top coats.  The rear of the neck has been refinished with an open-grain look and feel as close as possible to the original. The action is smooth, intonation excellent and is strung with light-gauge flat-wounds. A number of top players have tried and tested this instrument (only in my presence) and regard the sound and quality to be simply superb.
